Cocktails | Margarita on the Rocks

A classic.

Yield: 1 serving

margarita on the rocks

Ingredients

1/2 lime, for rim

salt, for rim

2 ounces Patron 100 percent agave silver tequila

1/2 ounce Cointreau

3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice

1/2 ounce simple syrup

 

Method

Rub the lime around the rim of the glass. Dip the glass into the salt to coat the rim.

Fill your shaker with 5 or 6 ice cubes. Add the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and syrup. Shake well.

Put 4 or 5 ice cubes in serving glass, pour in margarita.
