My Adventure

For this adventure, I made Swedish Meatballs and Jansson's Temptation.

For my restaurant selection we went to Pläj in San Francisco. We had Limpa Bread with Salted Anise Butter, Burrata Salad (Gioia burrata, frilly mustard greens, aquavit vinaigrette, heirloom tomatoes, stone fruit, rye crumbs), Potato Dumplings Kumla (shallot confit, lingonberry, bacon lardon, brown butter), Foie Gras Terrine (fig jam, crackling, hazelnuts, brioche), Swedish Meatballs (potato puree, pan gravy, lingonberry, pickled cucumber), Saddle of Elk (chanterelles, sunchoke puree, juniperberry jus, rainbow chard, lingonberry), and Æblwskivers (spiced apple, salted honey butter.) Everything was excellent!

 

Next stop, Russia.
